The Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Oil Heat Association is expanding its scope of services and rebranding as OPTTA. Napanee, Ont.: This petroleum industry group has now completed its rebranding from COHA-Ontario to OPTTA and with that, have taken on an expanded scope and support services to those businesses that provide road transportation of petroleum products and service, maintain and inspect oil burning equipment. President Jim Wood announced today that the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Oil Heat Association has renamed its organization, the Ontario Petroleum Transporters & Technicians Association. The COHA Ontario Chapter was originally created in 2004 to address the specific needs of the Ontario fuel oil home heat market.

OPTTA is led by a Board of Directors representing Ontario’s major geographical regions; the
Association spearheads four key areas of business development important to members’
ongoing success: Technical Development and Training, Insurance, Representation with
Regulatory Bodies and Technical and Regulatory Information support.
